Role

Overview : IIFL Securities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our accounting operations. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS), among other key financial responsibilities. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company. Key Responsibilities: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and yearly preparation and closure of financial statements as per IND AS, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage the consolidation of financial statements for LLPs, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with IND AS. Develop and present business MIS reports and financial workings as required by management to support decision-making. Coordinate with various departments to resolve any queries related to financial statements, ensuring smooth inter-departmental communication. Review and approve entries in General Ledgers (GLs) and conduct thorough scrutiny of GL accounts to maintain accurate records. Conduct daily reviews of bank reconciliations to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded and reconciled. Prepare detailed financial analyses related to income, expenses, fair valuation, interest accruals, capital gains, etc., to support financial planning and reporting. Oversee the preparation of presentations for the Board and manage stock exchange filings, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards. Monitor day-to-day accounting and finance operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements. Prepare the company’s budget and cost analysis reports, providing insights into financial planning and cost management strategies. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA/CPA certification is highly preferred. Proven experience in financial management and accounting within the financial fservices industry, with a deep understanding of IND AS. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
