Job Description: As a Senior 3D Artist, you will leverage your extensive experience in character development to create compelling, lifelike characters for our projects. You should be proficient in all areas of 3D art, with the ability to adapt to various styles and requirements. This role demands creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for storytelling through visual art.

Required Qualifications: 4-6 years of professional experience in 3D art, with a strong focus on character development. A diverse portfolio showcasing expert-level skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and shading, including a variety of character designs. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. Strong understanding of anatomy, proportion, and movement, with the ability to apply this knowledge to create realistic and stylized characters. Experience with rigging and animation is a plus, providing a comprehensive understanding of the character development pipeline. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail; able to breathe life into characters and contribute to the narrative and emotional depth of our projects. Strong understanding of the character development pipeline, from concept art to final in-game implementation. Understanding of optimization techniques for games, including LOD generation, mesh optimization, and texture size considerations.

Technical Skills and Tools: Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Sculpting Tools: Maya: Advanced skills in Maya for modeling, UV mapping, and texturing. ZBrush: Expertise in digital sculpting and character detailing using ZBrush. Texturing and Shading: Substance Painter/Designer: Highly skilled in texturing and creating materials. Adobe Photoshop: Proficient in texture painting, editing, and creating texture maps. Unity: Knowledge of asset integration and optimization in Unity. Rigging and Animation is a plus Autodesk 3ds Max or Maya: Knowledge of rigging and basic animation principles is a significant plus, facilitating the creation of characters that are ready for animation.
