Job description
Review and process funding change, care discontinues and care interruptions cases within the correct time frame.
Review, investigate and correct invoice rejections from various funding bodies (includes all payers - government, third party and private insurance) for resubmission to appropriate funding sources. If rejection results in a credit or write off; initiate the corresponding submission and approval process.
Create, validate and submit monthly summaries and MRIs to the funding body for payment.
Process vendor change requests for various provincial government programs.
Conduct training for new Q&F staff on administrative responsibilities, funding requirements, paperwork completion. Review and identify quality gaps and support billers on administrative requirements.
Distribute administrative reports relating to funding and quality, conduct follow up regional/branch meetings for review of incomplete paperwork, held billing and other KPI reports as required.
Maintain client confidence and protect VitalAire's operations by keeping all information confidential.
Communicate effectively with regional referral sources, funding sources (includes all payers - government, third party and private insurance), management and frontline staff as required .
Maintain open communication within the Finance Team and various departments across the organization. Works closely with regional branches and the billing team to ensure data accuracy and procedural compliance.
