Job description
TiE Rajasthan is seeking a go-getter with excellent communication skills to join as Executive Director . Â The TiE Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of TiE Rajasthan in consultation with the President, Executive Council and Working Committees. The position reports directly to the President -TiE Rajasthan.
Primary Responsibilities
Executive Council & Committees:
- Â Responsible for leading TiE Rajasthan Secretariat in a manner to support and guide the organization's mission as defined by the EC. Working with board and staff to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning and community outreach.
- Responsible for communicating effectively with the EC and providing, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions.
- Report to and work closely with the EC to seek their involvement in organisational and policy decisions, fundraising and to increase the overall visibility of TiE.
- Organising TiE GC & EC committee meetings, serving as ex-officio of each committee and ensuring implementation of the GC and EC decisions.
Financial Performance and Viability:
- Â Planning and operation of annual budget in consultation with the President, EC and TiE Finance Committee.
- Â Responsible for fiscal management, operating within the approved budget, ensuring maximum resource utilization and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position.
- Submission to the EC of monthly / quarterly / annual financial statements, which accurately reflect the financial condition of the organization.
- Securing sponsorships for the organization's diverse events and programs.
Membership:
- Maintaining a positive growth of membership and a healthy ratio of CMs, AMs and other membership categories.
- Â Review and suggest changes in member induction process.
- Actively engaging with TiE Rajasthan members to keep them engaged with TiE.
Communication:
- Communicating with TiE Global and other chapters to ensure consistency with TiE's global agenda and seek their help to strengthen TiE locally.
- Serving as TiE Rajasthan's primary contact person for the members and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring quality content and timely circulation of TiE Rajasthan Newsletter .
- Managing the timely updating of the website
- Consistently posting updates on social media platforms to keep the audience informed about all developments.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with various organizations and utilize those relationships to strategically enhance TiE's Mission.
- Oversee marketing and other communications efforts.
Administration and Office Management:
- Draft, review and suggest changes in TiE policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation.
- Supervise, guide and collaborate with the staff.
- Â Review and approve contracts for service providers.
- Â Other duties as assigned by the EC .
