Job description
: Software Developer
• Participate in discussions with client, understand the requirements and provide input to the design of the identified requirements
• Add needed features to and fix bugs in CLIENT XMart system source code based on feedback from client
• Computer programming using sing C#, SQL, JavaScript, html, CSS or other relevant technologies as needed.
• Do programming in all layers of the source code, including the database, middle-tier and front-end.
• Suggest improvements to the source code such as improved architecture and refactoring.
• Create unit tests, ensure that they pass and fix broken unit tests.
• Participate in knowledge transfer of entire solution from or to other vendors, as needed
• Check all deliverables/work into the CLIENT source code repository for xMart
• Investigate issues and resolve them
• Interface directly with end-users to troubleshoot hard to reproduce issues.
• Provides and maintain technical documentation for developed applications
• Undertake other tasks as required within the same contractual period in consultation with IMT
Skills:
• Good analytical skills (business, functional and system analysis)
• Good knowledge of web application development methodologies, project life cycle and implementation strategies
• Good knowledge of Microsoft development platforms (IDE, Source Control, SQL suite, IIS)
• Extensive knowledge of.NET framework, JavaScript, Angular and CSS
• Solid experience / skills with JavaScript frameworks like Angular
• Very good experience / skills ASP.NET MVC and NET framework 4.0, .NET CORE, C# and JavaScript
• Good knowledge of the Entity Framework (or other ORMs like Linq to SQL, NHibernate)
