Job description

Role : Payments - Technical Delivery ManagerExperience : 8 - 15 YearsLevel Manager or Above depending on experience levelPrior Background : - Minimum 8+ years of experience working as part of Payments Technology solution at an IT company, in the role of Project Manager / Delivery Manager. - Must have played a technical lead role for at least 2 year for a full life cycle of application design and development including participation in initial discussion on requirementsPrimary Skills : - Payments Technology Architecture- Knowledge of Global Payments Processing- SWIFT Processing- Clearing systems (e.g. RTGS - CHAPS / FED / etc.)- Should have worked in end-to-end implementation of an IT solution in one of the above Functional areas.- Exposure and experience in Payments or Cash Management products like Fundtech's GPP, GCP, Dovetail or Clear2Pay OPF, Polaris Intellect Suite, Reval CPS etcSpecifications : - Hands on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs- Experience with multiple payments and cash management products like Fundtech, Clear2Pay, ACI, Montran, Dovetail- Understanding of payments application architecture with ability to identify and architect for development of the solution for given requirements - Prior experience in delivering high quality software or data solutions- Strong Project Management skills with at least 6+ years of PM experience working within a Global (time zone separated) team- Good understanding of Banking domain- Strong understanding of Project Management concepts, SDLC methodologies and Operating models (Agile and Waterfall)- Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment- Managed projects on different technology platforms i.e. Legacy (mainframes) or Open systems (.Net, Java, etc), on different Operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)- Expertise in using Microsoft Office Project for creating and maintain project plans and MS Office Tool Suite (including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)- Excellent presentations skills, ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner- Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution- Work with Shared Services OrganizationsGood to have :- PMO experience- Exposure to J2EE technologies like Core Java programming , Enterprise Java Beans , Java Server Pages , JDBC , Java Mail , XML , JAXP , JAAS,JMS ,JSTL ,JTA and other open source frameworks like struts , Jasper , Quartz etc.- Good knowledge in PL SQL and Unix Scripting, C, C++, J2EE, STRUTS and any EAIResponsibilities : - Enable creation of payments technology domain capabilities, both solution offerings and delivery skills- Identify focus areas in terms of the emerging market trends in Payments technology and build competency in specific area - Provide inputs to delivery teams on functional areas for executing projects- Payments Technology Consulting - Understanding the requirements to analyze the gaps and create a solution for implementation.- Partner with development managers to ensure projects have a time, cost and delivery plan and deliver high quality software to plan as a result of proactive planning and mitigation of issues- Work closely with Business Analyst to correctly and completely define Business requirements- Stakeholder Management, Scope Management, Risk Monitoring and Mitigation- Project and program level tracking and reporting (including task/ milestone tracking, resourcing, risks and issues, WSR)- Implement software quality assurance initiatives for projects within Wealth Management- Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology processes as well as other interfacing systems- Adhere to toolsets and procedures and embrace them with their project management skills- Plan and monitor financial budgets, forecasting and metrics to measure project health- Management reporting including creation, collation and publishing of regional and functional dashboards- Creation and maintenance of SharePoint sites- Work with geographically dispersed teams - Co-ordinate development and implementation of project management best practices to improve overall efficiency and productivity of delivery teams (ref:hirist.tech)
