GCP Devops Engineer. Educational Qualification : Bachelor's/Master'sExperience : 5 -8 Years. Location : Bangalore , Pune. Notice Period : 0 - 30 Days. Hire type : Full time. Job Description : - As a GCP Devops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using industry best practices. - Your role will involve implementing scalable and resilient architectures for applications and services. - You will also work on containerization and orchestration, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes to manage application deployment and scaling. - Additionally, automation will be a key focus, with the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistency and reliability across environments.. Responsibilities : - Cloud Infrastructure Management : - Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP. - Implement scalable and resilient architectures for applications and services. Containerization and Orchestration : - Containerize applications using Docker. - Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes. - Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters for application deployment and scaling. Infrastructure as Code : - Utilize Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning. - Implement infrastructure as code practices for consistency and reliability. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Automate build, test, and deployment processes. - Integrate CI/CD pipelines with version control systems and artifact repositories. Monitoring and Logging : - Implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver. - Set up logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address issues. Security and Compliance : - Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and containerized applications.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data privacy and security.. Collaboration and Documentation : - Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate DevOps processes smoothly. - Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. Skills & Requirements : - Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation. - Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver. - Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud environments. - Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Effective collaboration and communication skills. - Documentation skills for capturing infrastructure configurations and processes (ref:hirist.tech)
