Job description
To design systems to automate industrial tasks. To create mechanical design documents and models for floweserve products, and then build and test the designs.
Responsibilities & Requirements: + Minimum of 8 year s experience in mechatronics engineering in digital products such as positioners and smart valve technology. + Engineering principals to development, deployment and support of production processes, equipment and test systems to improve the reliability and manufacturability of new and existing products. + Sound knowledge in evaluating issues that arise in production and drive resolution. Assist in evaluating failed units returned from the field. + Evaluate and adopt the latest in new technology and research when applicable. + Knowledge to design, model, fabricate and test new process systems and test systems in a thorough and timely manner. + Assist manufacturing with new production. + Ability to work on Engineering documentation for bills of material, product support, and product line extensions. + Provide technical assistance to Sales and Marketing for new products. + Knowledge of digital products and smart valve technology. + Proficiency with computer software design tools (word processor, spreadsheet, internet, CAD,). + Good knowledge of writing technical reports and training materials and keeping laboratory documentation. + The ability to diagnose problems through the application of theory and testing. + Instrumentation experience and knowledge.
