Overview We are in search of a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This position calls for a strategic thinker, with deep financial expertise in the tech industry, ready to design and steer our fiscal strategies amidst the vibrant tech landscape of Bangalore.
Core Responsibilities - Strategic Financial Planning:
- Craft and communicate the company's financial vision in line with our extensive technological goals.
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to manage capital and enhance operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold governance standards.
- Stakeholder & Investor Relations:
- Serve as the main financial contact for investors, clearly communicating financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and external auditors.
- Risk Management:
- Develop a tailor-made financial risk management framework suitable for the tech industry.
- Implement robust financial controls, audit processes, and treasury management practices.
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage budgeting processes to align financial resources with strategic objectives.
- Lead forecasting efforts, utilizing analytics to inform business decisions and strategic adjustments.
- Mergers, Acquisitions & Expansion:
- Guide financial evaluation and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop and execute global financial strategies to support expansion initiatives.
- Team Development & Leadership:
- Cultivate a culture of excellence within the finance team, promoting continuous learning and collaboration.
- Set performance standards, initiate professional development programs, and lead talent acquisition efforts.
Desired Profile - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with significant leadership experience and a deep understanding of the IT sector.
- A proven track record with public listed companies and extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements.
