Job description
AWS CloudFormation + Chef
Expertise in configuration management tool – Chef
· Proficient in Ruby, Python and Shell
· Knowledge of Golang, Groovy
· Proficient in IaaS scripting – Terraform / Cloud Formation
· Understanding of cloud technologies
· Understanding of CI/CD process
Profile must have good understanding of Ruby Programming language
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• 5-7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environment is essential.
• Strong proficiency with Chef and CloudFormation to automate management, configuration, and deployment of cloud-based resources.
• Familiarity with other AWS Services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS, EBS, ELB, and IAM.
• Excellent understanding of best practices for cloud security, high availability, and scalability.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Ideally you’ll also have
• Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
