Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machine Shop Manager to join our team at Manav Management Group. As a CNC Machine Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our machine shop, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. This is a full-time position based in Faridabad, Haryana, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in CNC machining, with a strong background in programming and operating CNC machines
- Proficiency in using CNC machine tools and equipment
- Sound knowledge of tooling requirements for different machining operations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience in manpower management and team leadership
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the CNC machine shop operations, including planning, organizing, and overseeing the production processes
- Ensure the timely completion of production orders while maintaining high-quality standards
- Coordinate with the engineering team to review project specifications and develop efficient machining strategies
- Optimize machine shop workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials and tooling to meet production requirements
- Train, mentor, and develop machine shop staff to ensure a highly skilled and motivated workforce
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as quality control and maintenance, to resolve production issues
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC machining technology and implement best practices in the machine shop
