Job description
Assessing patient needs : RMPS travel to patient homes to provide medical care. Before providing any treatment, they must assess the patients medical needs and condition.
Developing care plans : RMPS work with patients and their families to develop care plans that meet the patients medical needs. This may include developing a treatment plan, monitoring vital signs, and providing medication.
Administering treatments : RMPS carry their own medical kit with them, which contains all the necessary equipment and medications required to treat the patient. They administer treatments, such as injections, intravenous fluids, wound care, and other medical procedures.
Monitoring patients: RMPS are responsible for monitoring the patients condition and making adjustments to the treatment plan as needed. They also monitor the patients progress and report any changes to the patients physician.
Maintaining accurate records: RMPS maintain accurate medical records of each patient they treat. This includes documenting the patients medical history, current medications, and treatments provided.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals : RMPS work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure the patient receives comprehensive care.
