Develop detailed precast schedules and production plans using specialized software tools.
Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to ensure they are suitable for precast construction.
Coordinate design modifications and clarifications with the design team as necessary.
Allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet precast production schedules.
Monitor and manage production capacity and adjust as needed.
Ensure precast components meet design and quality standards.
Collaborate with cost control and procurement teams to align precast planning with budgetary constraints.
Provide input into budget preparation and cost forecasting for precast elements.
Oversee the production process in precast facilities, ensuring components are manufactured in accordance with project requirements and schedules.
Plan and coordinate the transportation and logistics of precast components from the manufacturing facility to the construction site.
Monitor and manage transportation schedules and delivery to ensure on-time arrivals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, reports, and change orders.
Provide regular reports on the progress of precast planning and production
Ensure that precast production processes adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
Required Qualifications.
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in precast concrete planning and project coordination
Proficiency in precast construction software and project management tools
Strong knowledge of precast construction techniques, design, and production processes
