About the Opportunity
Trident Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Contract Drafting and Vetting Specialist to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, legality, and completeness of various contracts, agreements, and legal documents. This position requires a strong understanding of legal principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to, vendor agreements, client contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business development, finance, and operations teams, to understand business needs and objectives.
- Work closely with external legal counsel when required and manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) and relevant legal certifications.
- Proven experience of atleast 3 years in legal contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law and a strong understanding of legal principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using legal research tools.
