10-14 Years Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager cum Data Architect with expertise in Azure and data management implementations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams, designing robust data architectures, and implementing solutions on the Azure cloud platform. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: 1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives. 2. Design end-to-end data architectures on the Azure cloud platform, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics components. 3. Implement data management solutions, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards. 4. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data architecture and data management practices, leveraging Azure services and emerging technologies. 5. Oversee the implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. 6. Lead data governance initiatives, establishing policies, standards, and best practices for data management and ensuring adherence across the organization. 7. Provide technical leadership in Data Architecture & designing, implementing, and maintaining data engineering solutions using Azure technologies. 8. Collaborate with Client-Side architects and business stakeholders to define technical strategies and roadmaps for data engineering projects. 9. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in cloud technologies, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.

Team Management: 1. Lead a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in delivering high-quality data solutions. 2. Provide technical leadership and support for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolution of complex data-related issues. 3. Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. 4. Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and identify opportunities for skill development. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and solution/ application architects, to understand business needs and translate them into effective data solutions. 6. Foster a collaborative culture by promoting communication and knowledge sharing across teams. Project Delivery: 1. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and business requirements. 2. Work closely with Client Managers/ Program Owner to allocate resources effectively and optimize project delivery. Key Proficiencies: Azure Cloud Platform: 1. Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions on Azure, including services like Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory. 2. Experience with Azure PaaS offerings for data management, such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Databricks. 3. Strong understanding of Azure security, compliance, and governance features. Data Architecture and Modeling: 1. Expertise in designing end-to-end data architectures, encompassing data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics components. 2. Knowledge of data modeling techniques, database design principles, and optimization strategies. 3. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.

Data Management Implementations: 1. Hands-on experience in implementing data management solutions, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows. 2. Familiarity with data quality assessment, data cleansing, and data governance practices. 3. Understanding of data lifecycle management, archival strategies, and data retention policies. Leadership and Communication: 1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative working environment. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 3. Experience in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and consensus building. Big Data Technologies: 1. Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka. 2. Understanding of distributed computing principles and parallel processing techniques for handling large volumes of data. Data Visualization Tools: 1. Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Databricks, for creating interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations. 2. Ability to transform complex data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations. Agile Methodologies and DevOps Practices: 1. Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, for iterative software development and project management. 2. Understanding of DevOps practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC). Domain Expertise: 1. Previous experience or domain knowledge in Finance industries such as Banking, Wealth Management, Payments, or Cross Border Remittance. Classification: Confidential Contains PII: No 2. These primary and secondary skills are essential for success in the Technical Manager cum Data Architect role, enabling the individual to effectively design, implement, and manage data solutions on the Azure cloud platform while providing leadership and guidance to the technical team. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. 10+ years of experience and a minimum of 5 yrs. in technical leadership roles, with a focus on data architecture and data management. 3. Strong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory. 4. Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and optimization techniques, with hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. 5. Solid understanding of data governance principles, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 7. Proven track record of delivering complex data projects on time and within budget, with a focus on driving business outcomes and value. Primary Skills

: Azure Data Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SQL DB, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Modelling, Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate), ETL Design. Secondary Skills for Search: SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, OLAP/BI design & development experience using SSAS / SQL Server, Salesforce, SVN, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD Preferred Certifications:

1. Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Azure Administrator Associate. 2. Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka. 3. Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Databricks. 4. Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices for software development and deployment. 5. Previous experience in industries such as finance, Banking, Investments, or Insurance, with specific domain expertise in data analytics and business intelligence. 6. Additional certifications in data management, data architecture, or related fields would be beneficial.
