• As a Senior Digital DevOps engineer, you will join a team of skilled software engineers to drive Veralto s Digital transformative initiatives in IoT, Data and Analytics (Machine Learning) platforms targeted at multiple market segments
• You will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, distributed, reliable Serverless systems that will serve as the backbone of Veralto s digital platforms
• You will apply your knowledge and proficiency in architecting and coding software components that run on AWS (preferred) or Azure IaaS or PaaS infrastructure
• You will work on Event driven Micro service based architecture that interact with back-end databases and other services
• You will be called upon to solve complex analytical problems independently as well as with your team members
• You will work with a globally distributed Agile team in a fast-paced environment
• The Senior Digital DevOps engineer serves as a bridge between the development and operations functions
• The engineer identifies and optimizes the interdependencies between these functions through a collaborative approach
• The engineer works to improve developer productivity and delivery speed by enabling developers to be more self-sufficient and automating operations processes

Responsibilities

Define, deploy and manage processes and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) seamlessly without manual intervention, test-driven development, and release management.

Follow and enforce clean code practices, software design patterns, software testing and applying common infrastructure patterns

Infrastructure Setup, Monitoring, Maintenance and Scale up for PQI Digital s cloud based on AWS

Code and/or script solutions to automate processes to easy up building CI/CD pipelines.

Communicate and collaborate with development teams

Identify and implement tools that will optimize CI/CD, testing, release and other processes

Collaborate on creating and implementing cloud policies and governance.

Administration of different environments on Cloud

Build and improvise the automated tools to build infrastructure, monitoring and alerting system and Data visualization

Create and implement strategies to improve processes; including process re-engineering as required

Should be willing to participate on a revolving on call schedule

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field with 5+ years experience.

Bug free single click, B/ G AWS Serverless CI/ CD experience is a must.

Minimum 2 years hands on experience in AWS/Azure technologies such as EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, S3, Cloud Formation

2+ years hands on experience: AWS, Virtualization, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes: These should ring a bell, and are not a foreign word

2+ years hands on experience AWS monitoring tools, GIT, Node deployment tools and continuous integration.

3+ years strong hands-on experience in Deployment (CI/CD) tools: Chef, Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible

Experience in incident management: should keep a cool head in an emergency, maintain poise amid incidents

3+ years experience with Bash / PowerShell and other similar script writing skills

Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.

Ability to travel as needed
