About This Opportunity
As the Senior ICT Service Architect, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with various organizations within Ericsson Cloud and Ericsson IT, encouraging connections with Cloud & Application, Lab Operations, SAN Tools, Global IT, and our esteemed Business Units (BU's) partners.
This senior position offers an outstanding level of autonomy, empowering you to articulate your sophisticated technical vision for the future of services. Your influence will be highly visible, contributing to the realization of outstanding, modern, and resilient Cloud Services for our R&D users.
What You Will Do We are seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a Citrix Remote Solutions Specialist with Windows Platform flavour. In this role, you will primarily focus on optimizing, evolving, and developing Citrix remote solutions for our Windows cloud platform. Your main responsibility will be to deliver resilient Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Hosted Shared Desktop (HSD) and similar services on top of Citrix DaaS to our Research and Development (R&D) community.
Join our team and contribute to the evolution of our Citrix remote solutions, ensuring a resilient and efficient experience for our R&D community. You will bring Core Skills Solid experience with Citrix infrastructure and client solutions, exampled below: - Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops:
- Competence equivalent to CC-DaaS-CC certification scope and older LP-CWS-3001 for on-premises technology
- Citrix Remote Access:
- Competence equivalent to eCNS-2026
Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Products (OS, SCCM, Azure, Office 365, or similar), exampled below: - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Guide (Microsoft Certification).
- MCSE: Core Infrastructure (Microsoft Certification)
- Competence equivalent to Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Authority (Microsoft Certification) or,
- Competence equivalent to Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (Microsoft Certification) or,
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (Microsoft Certification)
- Validated ability in designing and conducting Proof of Concept (PoC or equivalent experience) deployments for service offerings.
Good to Have - Knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V, XEN, VMWare)
- Familiarity with industry security standards (ISO/IEC 27000-series)
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools (CheckMK, Control or similar)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Hardware (HP, Dell, NVIDIA GPUs)
- Solid grasp of Network and Storage (e.g., Nexenta, NetApp)
- Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically PowerShell and Python
- Basic understanding of GNU/Linux systems !
- Experience in identifying requirements, researching options, and crafting/implementing solutions at an architectural level
