Business Analyst - Procurement

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad

Role Summary: Cognizant is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with a specialization in Procurement and Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in business analysis, adept at navigating the complexities of procurement and financial processes. This role demands an individual who can blend technical prowess with exceptional stakeholder management skills to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into detailed requirements for procurement and finance initiatives.
• Utilize Power BI and Advanced Excel to analyze data, generate insights, and support decision-making processes.
• Lead project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery of projects with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Drive stakeholder communication, ensuring clarity and alignment across project phases.
• Employ design thinking, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies to optimize processes and deliver innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the knowledge management repository by creating and updating knowledge articles, preparing collaterals, and maintaining the database.

Qualifications:

• MBA with 2-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis within the procurement and finance domains.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Advanced Excel, and familiarity with other analytical tools.
• Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, project management, and effective communication.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply design thinking principles.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies preferred.
