Responsible for driving cybersecurity improvements across the Cancer Treatment Services International businesses.

Responsible for Cybersecurity And Data Privacy across the Cancer Treatment Services International businesses in alignment with the overall Siemens Healthineers cybersecurity strategy and approach.

Example Cybersecurity Responsibilities Include

  • Guides Cybersecurity governance implementation and drives process improvement accordingly
  • Leads cybersecurity training and awareness
  • Partners with the business and the Siemens Healthineers IT organization to continually enhance cybersecurity resilience
  • Works with business and Medical Device Manufacturers (MDM) to maintain security and resilience of the hospital treatment delivery systems and environment
  • Advises on risk management; interface between strategic and operational risk management
  • Represents organization for Cybersecurity topics internally and externally
  • Coordinates cybersecurity incident & vulnerability handling (incl. holding statement) activities and processes
  • Steers and maintains community collaboration and best practice sharing

Example Data Privacy Responsibilities Include

  • Serves as first point of contact for Data Privacy related questions and responds to them to the extent a general guidance has already been given by Siemens Healthineers Data Privacy corporate team;
  • Supports the business in filling in the Healthineers Data Privacy Register (HDPR) and performs reviews of the entries to ensure standard quality
  • Acts as coordinator to drive the fact finding in case of an incident to support the data breach handling process providing information to the Siemens Healthineers Data Privacy corporate team
  • Supports the business in conducting Data Privacy Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and coordinates final clearance with the Siemens Healthineers Data Privacy corporate team
  • Cascades information from Data Privacy further into the organization and contributes to best practice sharing

Provides regular updates to leadership on current DP topics and risks

Typical Education And Experience

Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 6 years of related experience.

Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
