Role Clarity: Content Developer & Trainer - Verbal Ability

Role Definition
Verbal Ability – The Content Developer and Trainer is the one who is responsible for conducting thorough research on company expectations in the area of Verbal Ability, developing & delivering new content. Also proofreading/ Validating content before publishing.
As a Verbal trainer, he/she will be responsible for conducting effective training sessions using new training methodologies.

• Determine the competencies that are required to master each element of the curriculum
• Create the curriculum for the module
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related verbal topics to develop original content
• Development of quality content and delivery for the verbal section of Pre-placement requirements.
• Developing company-specific model question papers. Course design - research exam patterns, syllabus & creating similar question papers.
• Development of quality content and delivery for the Verbal Ability section of Competitive exams like SSC, Railways, Banking and Defense, etc.
• To develop quality content and delivery for the verbal ability of CAT/GMAT/GRE/Regional MBA entrances.
• Top create puzzles/mind benders
• Develop content based on Current Affairs and GK
• Create modules for slow learners, medicores & performers.
• Building simple but discerning questions to check whether the participant has understood
• Commenting and finalizing questions made by stakeholders to enhance the quality of questions.
• Making standardized test papers for different projects.

• Responsible for creating questions with solutions & thought processes of different given topics.
• Proofread/validate content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Develop videos based on exam patterns, syllabus, tips, and tricks
• Record video lectures/lessons catering to different companies' selection processes and multiple competitive bank exams.
• Build the video solutions for all the tests administered on the platform.
• Content creation for the official YouTube channel
• Developing content for contests, blogs, booklets, and social media.
• Curate content, edit, and improve questions/solutions.
• Create content for various marketing collaterals/channels like eBooks, infographics, videos, Quora, etc.
• Create assessments to evaluate learning outcomes
Training & Development
• Teach verbal ability to students preparing for Placements and Competitive exams.
• Train participants on Soft skills & communication skills
• Able to train participants on voice & accent.
• Should be able to create solutions & explanations to questions available and clear student doubts over email.
• Manage the online doubt-clearing sessions for the users.
• Train Content Developers (both in-house and freelancers) to make them deliver better content. Review content and questions created by other content developers.
• Giving training demos
Learning & Assessment Platform
• Identifying customer's needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
• Design the overall curriculum structure for the learning platform
• Conducting Train the Trainer sessions (both in-house and freelancers) ensuring
• Giving portal platform demo
• Conducting competitors' research
• Work closely with the S/W development team to develop ideas and concepts for each competency
• Test each module once it has been created to make sure that it meets desired curricular standards
• Conduct usability testing sessions with students
• Analyzing large-scale student response data to figure out how students think and learn.
• Designing, conducting & evaluating the assessment process
• Spending considerable time on the field by setting standard processes,
doing training, invigilating, and helping out with field audits and other relevant implements.

• Generate ideas for the game-based learning platform
• Contribute to recruiting new talent, as per the organization's needs
• Coordinating with the technical content development team
• Basic video editing skills (preferred but not compulsory)
• Online Video Experience (preferred but not compulsory)
• Proofread digital marketing content

Measurement Metrics

Requirement
• BA / MA – English. Physiology as an additional subject is preferred but not compulsory
• Appeared for IELTS, TOFEL, CELTA, NLP
• Working knowledge of content development
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
