Job description
Technical Support Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the overall success of Customer Success Division of Smartapp.com by diagnosing, triaging and resolving technical issues to their fullest satisfaction. Technical Support Engineers are the second line of support to the end users of Smartapp.com platform and have to work closely with the first line of customer support engineers, functional analysts and implementation consultants.
Job Description
- Development of scripts, stored procedures and data models to meet customer specific requirements using Python, C#, MS SQL etc.
- Maintenance of existing scripts and stored procedures that are used on customer specific implementations.
- Design, Development and Maintenance of Reports using Microsoft SSRS.
- Internal coordination with the Engineering QA team for resolving customer specific issues and deploying solutions.
- Lead and participate in technical and operations reviews.
- Proactive stakeholder expectation management
- Experience (in Yrs): 2-3+ years.
Mandatory Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Very strong computer science fundamentals including Data Structures and Algorithms
- 2+ years of experience in development with Python, C#/Java/.Net
- Expertise in relational databases like SQL
- Hands on in SQL CRUD operations and query optimization
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Utilize excellent problem solving skills with the ability to handle and address complex technical issues
- Possess a self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude and proactively seeks feedback
- Flexible to work in designated shift hours to facilitate global communication.
