Sea6 Energy is an engineering & biotech research firm founded by alumni of IIT Madras developing novel products and solutions for the food, feed and fuel sectors. Sea6 has developed the world’s first Sea Combine TM, a combine harvester to automate sea plant cultivation and harvesting on the ocean surface. Our expertise in understanding the sea plant and its bioactive components is the key success factor in our product development. Our product portfolio includes products for agriculture, animal feed additives, biodegradable plastics & polymers and food additives.

1.) Job Purpose:

Effectively promote range of Bio stimulants and plant defense products on key crops by designing and implementing sales & field marketing strategies. Build strong sales team in the state of HR, Punjab and UP Build effective Channel network in all key markets & select crop geographies to achieve business plan. Achieve monthly sales and collection targets through proper stocks liquidation at farmers and retailer level.

2.) Job Context & Major Challenges:

The major challenges of the position are as follows:

Build high performing sales team appropriate to business. Strategies and deploy innovative channel models / Distributors. Select Crop geographies suitable for product portfolio Conceptualizing a targeted customer contact and promotional campaign thru Innovative promotional campaigns (Cost of campaign v/s benefits). Get involved fully in key activities to achieve sales and collection targets. Design Product schemes in accordance with the value proposition

3.) Zonal Sales Manager Requirements and Qualifications

Result oriented, team player. Encouraging to team and staff; able to lead. Self-motivated and self-directed. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills. In-depth understanding of Punjab, Haryana and UP Crop markets. Flair for Sales role and extensive travelling across geography. Proven results of delivering meeting sales and collection goals. Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into data-based actions decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Telugu and English; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.

4.) Languages:

Fluent in local language Hindi and English. In addition, any other Indian language is desirable.

5.) Location:

Haryana

6.) Education : Bachelor’s degree in science / Agriculture, business administration, master’s degree preferred

7.) Experience : Seven to Ten years’ previous work experience in front line sales roles and line management in Agri input particularly Agrochemicals or Plant Health products preferred.
