Job description

• We are looking for an enthusiastic finance writer for one of our clients from the finance industry.
• The candidate should be able to reinvent the way finance news is gathered, shared, and read for the next generation.
• We're looking for a Research and Content Strategist to help drive the activation, engagement, education, growth, and retention of our client's current and prospective customers. The ideal candidate should be excited about research crafting content that empowers people to understand investing, market conditions, and other financial concepts. In this role, you will have the chance to work directly with several teams across the company including marketing, research, design, and compliance.

Your work will involve:

- Creating crisp financial content (that's uncomplicated) that will engage the audience (SEO friendly)

- Ideating new research content offerings, identifying opportunities to test and eventually operationalize.

- Bringing in a new perspective to the overall content and editorial process for the client's monthly research magazine, ensuring a high-quality bar and efficient output.

- Work with our monthly newsletter team and come up with strategies to grow our email list and keep subscribers engaged.

- Work cross-functionally with digital marketing teams to generate and deliver multi-faceted social-media campaigns for the research content.

- Develop and maintain the editorial and promotional calendar in partnership with the digital planning team.

- Stay updated with the latest circulars and news, and create communications for the clients in email, blog articles, WhatsApp, and SMS forms.

- Monitor social trends in the investing and research domain, stay abreast of new social platforms and best practices, and provide competitive social analysis.

- Create proper email marketing content for product updates, new issues, cross-selling, and all other relevant activities.

- Draft script for videos of various forms including marketing, tutorials, and research.

Additional responsibilities will be developed in conjunction with the candidate's interests, skills, and desired learning areas and as per the requirement.

- A demonstrated interest in the financial markets and the aspiration to work in the financial services industry

- Excellent editorial judgement with a love for news and finance

- Passion for content and developing new, creative ideas

- Clear, concise communication skills: writing and verbal

- Eye for detail, detail and deadline-oriented and proactive

- Collaborative spirit working with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in the industry
• Proficiency in major digital and print platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Salary: 30k-50k per month
