KEY SKILLS: AIX ADMIN, FIRMWARE,HMC,PATCH MANAGEMENT EXP: 3-6 Years LOCATION: HYDERABAD / BANGALORE NOTICE PERIOD: Immediate - 60 days only
Candidate must be available for In-Person Interview. JOB DESCRIPTION : Technical Skills -Expert knowledge on AIX Server Administration (AIX 7, Power Systems, LPAR, POWERVM) Experience to AIX OS installation, configuration, and maintenance Experience in patch management Experience in Server Monitoring and configure Monitoring by using Native tool (HMC) as well as Industry Standard tools (SolarWinds). Expert knowledge on AIX OS troubleshooting skills and tools Expert knowledge for capacity & performance management on AIX server Experience to install and maintain NIM Server, created Spot, LPP source and resource Experience to migrate server from lower version of OS to latest version OS Experience to upgrade firmware Experience on HMC tool Experience in performance tuning and hardening of AIX servers Experience in network and storage configuration on AIX Servers Experience in Incident Management and implement workaround to resolve incidents within SLA. Experience to perform RCA and work with OEM to implement permanent solution Experience to work with Application Team to deploy software and application on server and release management Process & Soft Skills – Exceptional communication Skills Experience in vendor coordination and stakeholder management ITIL Knowledge & Certification – Incident, Problem, Service Request, and Change Management. Experience in documentation to build Operational and configuration documents Flexible to work in Shift (24/7) and to provide support on weekendJob tags
