Job description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Uphold the company's HSEQ Policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and industry-specific HSEQ Standards.

Develop, oversee, and assess the company's HSE and Quality goals and performance.

Manage and enhance the HSE and ISO system documents, ensuring that audits and necessary actions are executed to maintain the company's adherence to the established standards.

Take on the role of HSEQ management within the assigned area of responsibility.

Initiate, steer, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives through the utilization of the I&I Reduction program.

Lead the investigation of incidents and provide support to departments in identifying the root causes.

Conduct employee training on hazard identification and review departmental risk assessments.

Ensure that the company always complies with legal regulations and promptly inform the plant and regional HSEQ manager about any changes and their implications for the business.

Act as the site's emergency officer during crisis scenarios.

Develop an HSE training schedule based on the competency plan and facilitate training sessions as per the schedule.

Carry out inspections, safety walks, and internal audits in a timely manner.

Serve as the primary point of contact for authorities, fire brigade, and local consultants regarding HSE matters.

Education and Experience:

Completion of the mandatory NEBOSH International General Certificate with a preference for working towards a NEBOSH Diploma.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in understanding legal compliance requirements in India, including the Factories Act, and related regulations.

Demonstrated ability and determination to go the extra mile and present recommendations effectively.

Revised Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities:

Strong sense of accountability, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in delivering training sessions with impactful presentations.

Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications.

Persuasive skills to encourage employees to adhere to HSE requirements.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
