Job description

The incumbent is responsible for Sales forecasting through S&OP by coordinating with all the connected stakeholders (Viz. Sales, Marketing, Analytics etc.), planning for the right stocks at right time through continuous consensus plan on production, maintaining inventory service levels and ensuring timely OTIF at CFA in coordination with the sales and distribution team for all existing products and the new products /re-launches. Reviewing last month supply plan and releasing a updated plan basis the fresh forecast. Co-ordination with Unit & Vendor for release of PO, Invoicing receipt/checking and forwarding to GBSS, Payment track/control

Experience

6 -10 years experience in supply chain with at least 5 years in Demand planning role, preferably from FMCG/Pharmaceuticals (Finished Formulations) industry

Experience in ERP environment (Exposure of APO/i2 Demand Planning, SAP mandatory)

Graduate with Full time MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management

Inventory Management and forecasting

Leading the S&OP discussion with Sales/Marketing of different Business Verticals and closing on the forecast

Leading the S&OP discussion within the Supply chain function along with procurement team to release Purchase requisition and map supply schedules

Responsible for maintaining service levels at each CFA for the product portfolio

Review of inventory of each brand and responsible for planning/initiating and implementing corrective action plans

Review of SLOB (Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory) and preparing long term/short term plans for avoidance/liquidation

Driving forecast accuracy across the brands/Business Verticals to improve service levels and avoid inventory build-up

Responsible for developing Inventory policies and ensuring compliance

Monitors stock-keeping unit levels and recommends stock-keeping unit rationalization initiatives in the future.

Coordinating with the stakeholders

Leading the team along with Marketing on consumer promotion offers and ensuring delivery/invoicing as per plans

Coordinating within the supply chain team to ensure error free and on time delivery of new products at each CFA

Involvement in cross functional team discussions for marketing activities, pack changes, new product launches.

Communicates decisions and supply impacts to all stakeholders in the planning process.

Responsible for developing, monitoring and review of SLA with key stake holders related to Demand and Distribution Planning

Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers to ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
