Job description
- As a member of the post sales team at Simpl, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer onboarding process after the sales team closes a deal and the agreement is signed
- Your role will involve analyzing customer trends, suggesting best practices during onboarding, and ensuring customers go live promptly
- Youll also collaborate with internal teams to address product gaps and prioritize improvements, document merchant requirements, and ensure the timely update of customer information in Salesforce
Responsibilities
As a part of the team, your role will:
- Take ownership of the customer onboarding process from the moment the sales team closes a deal to the customers go-live date.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for customers.
- Analyze existing customer trends and suggest best practices during the onboarding process to enhance the customer experience
- Identify product gaps or issues encountered during onboarding and report them to the product operations team.
- Collaboration with Sales and Partner Success Teams:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand merchant requirements and document them comprehensively.
- Monitor customer accounts for seven days before passing them on to the partner success team.
- Ensure that all customer information and onboarding progress is accurately and timely updated in Salesforce.
- Work closely with integration specialists to facilitate Simpl checkout integration for customers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years experience in consulting, business development, category management, vendor management and account management
- Experience with fintech or ecommerce and a robust understanding of the payment landscape is a huge plus
- A track record of business growth and earning trust of clients and build key relationships
- Ability to consolidate analytical information and use the same to improve processes. An A+ track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable traveling 20% to 30% of the time to meet key partners
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience working with tools like Salesforce,JIRA, spotdraft, etc.
