Areas of responsibility

  • Responsible for Projects and MRO Business in the region.
  • Responsible for sales funnel management, Key Account Management and Business development in the region.
  • Develop and implement actions as per strategic plans & sales objectives.
  • Provide sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Focus on Core industries and expand customer base.
  • Focus on Customer needs and Customer relationship management.
  • Analyse competition activities in the region and devise effective strategies to capture market share.
  • Product presentations / Demo, participation in customer events & exhibitions to promote the product and service portfolio.

Basic Requirements Of The Position

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical /Instrumentation) with 15 to 18 years Sales experience in Valves / Pumps /Automation Industry preferred.
  • Experience in Selling Slurry Valves, Pinch Valves, Knife-Gate Valves for Metal & Mining industry preferred.
  • Experience in Selling Control,ON-OFF, Ball & Butterfly Valves preferred.
  • Market and Customer experience & exposure to Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Refining & Petrochemical and Metal & Mining industries preferred.
  • Experience in handling Large EPCs & OEMs in Oil & Gas, Refinery & Petrochemical industries is a MUST.
  • Experience in handling Channel Partners preferred.
  • Proficient in handling Microsoft tools & BI Reports and exposure to CRM tools.
  • Should have handled Major Accounts, Corporate customers and familiar with Account Management.
  • Willing to travel extensively across India. Should have handled business to big / corporate customers. Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
