We're looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the migration of our self-healing, big data platform from AWS to GCP. You'll leverage your expertise in both cloud platforms to ensure a seamless transition while continuing to optimize our existing AWS environment. Overall Experience level: 5+Years Here's what you'll do: Design, develop, and manage highly scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP (EC2, S3, ECS, VPC, Cloud Formation, Code Pipeline, etc. for AWS and GCP equivalents) Implement and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes Build and maintain a data pipeline capable of processing 1 billion lines of data daily Manage and maintain 20+ in-house custom data products used by a large team of analysts Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices We're looking for someone with: Broad knowledge of cloud technologies, with the ability to deep-dive into specific cloud stacks (AWS & GCP) Experience with migrating complex applications from AWS to GCP Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Strong understanding of networking concepts (IP routing, VPNs) Experience with at least one programming language (Ruby, Go, Python) A passion for solving real-world problems with innovative solutions Why you'll love working here: Cutting-edge technology: Work with the latest cloud platforms and tools Real-world impact: Your work will directly support the success of our data team Empowering environment: Take initiative and ownership in a small, collaborative team Freedom to choose: Select the best tools and technologies for the job Flexible work arrangements: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with flexible schedulingJob tags
