Cloud Platform Engineer We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about enhancing security in the world of DevOps, we want to hear from you. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will setup and continuously improve automation of creating new tenants on existing Cloud Runtime Environment instances including the creation of accompanying Tenant-scoped Azure Managed Resources ideally via GitOps approach. You will do: Cloud Platform Fleet Management: Provide a stable and reliable infrastructural foundation for application development across all Cloud Runtime Environments with emphasis on automation and scalability of Cloud Infrastructure. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration for the Cloud Runtime Environment. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and manage CI/CD to automate software deployment and infrastructure provisioning. Utilize and promote GitOps principles to drive automated reconciliation. Monitoring and Observability: Setup and monitors observability of the central components of the Cloud Runtime Environment and configuration of the Observability stack, setup Dashboards and alerting for Cloud Runtime Environment central components. Monitor and React to alerts. Maintaining Cloud Runtime Environment: Maintain and updates Cloud Runtime Environment capabilities across all CRE instances in an automated way. Create and update documentation of Cloud Runtime Environment features and capabilities for easy use by SREs and development teams to consume. Perform regular disaster recovery trainings on Container Runtime Environment infrastructure and its capabilities. You have: · Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer. · Proficiency in cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, especially in services related to container orchestration (e.g., AKS), storage, networking, and security. · Understanding of API management tools, with specific experience in Tyk or similar tools. Knowledge of API gateway concepts, security, and traffic management. · In-depth knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, with a focus on AKS in this case. · Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform for managing and provisioning infrastructure. · Experience with CI/CD tools, automation, and version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, ArgoCD). · Experience with setting up monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and Azure monitor. Setup observability stack, dashboards and alerting for the Cloud infrastructure components. Knowledge on Open Telemetry collector is a plus. · Awareness of security best practices for containerized applications and cloud environments like Azure. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently in a complex environment. · Good documentation skills to create clear and comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. · Preferably certified as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
