Job Title: Payroll Executive

Overview: As a Payroll Accountant you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll activities for the organization. This position requires a detailoriented individual with strong analytical and organizational skills. The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for managing payroll processes compliance with relevant laws and regulations and maintaining accurate financial records related to payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing:

    • Compile and process payroll data including but not limited to hours worked taxes and other deductions.
    • Verify accuracy of payroll information and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages and salaries to employees.
  2. Compliance:

    • Stay informed about local state and federal payroll tax regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and reports.
  3. Recordkeeping:

    • Maintain accurate and uptodate payroll records.
    • Prepare and generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.
    • Reconcile payroll data to general ledger accounts.
  4. Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits such as health insurance retirement plans and other deductions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of benefitsrelated information.
  5. Communication:

    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
    • Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payrollrelated issues.
  6. Systems Management:

    • Utilize payroll software and systems to process payroll efficiently.
    • Collaborate with IT to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  7. Audit Support:

    • Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll.
    • Provide documentation and explanations as needed during audits.
  8. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll processes.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in payroll accounting.

Qualifications:

Requirements

Must have 2 years experience in Indian payroll.

Must have managed payroll of minimum 50 employees.

Saturday and Sunday Fixed Off

Candidate should have hands on experience working on Core Java + Struts. Must have worked on Struts, Spring/ Spring boot, Oracle, JSP, Servlets. Good to have experience in Microservices.
