We provide complete services right from Design, Equipment Manufacturing, Project Engineering, Process Engineering, and Erection & Commissioning to After-sales services for up to 500,000 TPA Mills.

Role Overview:

The Automation Engineer will be a vital member of our team, primarily responsible for overseeing the commissioning stages of our equipment at various sites. This role is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to ensure the smooth installation, commissioning, and operation of our machinery. The position offers a unique blend of field and desk work, with significant opportunities for professional development and contribution to key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Â

- Lead and assist in the erection & commissioning processes of equipment on-site, ensuring timely setup.

- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during commissioning, employing expert knowledge to ensure minimal downtime.

- Review mechanical drawings, requiring proficiency in AutoCAD to ensure equipment is built and installed according to specifications.

- Engage in panel building, ensuring the safe and effective operation of machinery.

- Perform desk-based tasks during non-commissioning stages, contributing to project planning, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

- Be willing and available to travel to various sites as required by project demands.

Qualifications:

Â

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, particularly in automation engineering and equipment commissioning.

- Solid understanding of electrical circuits, PLC, SCADA systems, hydraulic circuits, and rolling mill machines.

- Experience with CAD software for reviewing and interpreting mechanical drawings.

- Experience in electrical panel building and troubleshooting.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in demanding situations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively across teams.

- Must be willing to travel and capable of starting work immediately.
