About The Role:
We are hiring for the position of Data Mapping Editor, which involves editing metadata and developing media databases and content in the audiovisual field. Your responsibilities will include manipulating entertainment information, focusing on channel ownership and content creation, to support the core of Gracenote's media database.
Role Details:
- Acquire, normalize and enhance entertainment metadata from various channels and content providers.
- Analyze TV program schedules and assess program information in databases.
- Investigate and confirm program content, consulting with information providers.
- Consolidate data content and update databases with new program information.
- Edit and maintain TV listings information.
- Maintain accurate and updated database information.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to content and operational needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate information.
- Correctly map IDs within the mapping interface.
- Communicate effectively with global teams.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
and Skills:
- Any Graduate degree.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good internet research abilities.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work flexible shifts.
- Excellent keyboarding skills.
- Knowledge of international TV shows and media sector is a plus.
