We are looking for Document Controllers who want to work in Qatar.

JOB PURPOSE:
To check and record all incoming and outgoing drawings and documents on a log and update status of all revised and resubmitted documents and drawings. To maintain an adequate and efficient filing system of all letter correspondence, drawings, and documents per company project filing system.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Check all incoming drawings and documents i.e., document number, discipline, revision, etc. before receiving and preparing for internal distribution.
• Record all incoming drawings and documents on a log and update status of all revise and resubmitted document and drawings.
• Distribute received documents and drawings per company distribution matrix and keep track of their progress.
• Prepare outgoing transmittals for all reviewed/approved document and drawing submittals and send them to concerned or originating companies and update log.
• Scan all received and reviewed/approved documents and drawings and save them on their respective folders per company project filing system.
• Maintain an adequate and efficient filing system of all drawings and documents per company project filing system, ensuring easy retrieval of documents from the archive as and when requested.
• Generate report on regular basis of all processed and distributed drawings and documents and those scheduled for issuance and send it to all department managers or action person for comments and updating purposes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in construction or real estate
JOB-SPECIFIC SKILLS (GENERIC / TECHNICAL):
• Proficiency in English and Arabic
• Extensive knowledge and experience in document control from the project initiation to closing phase
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
• Excellent work organization, planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of office practices and procedures
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
• Ability to follow workflows and standards
• Proficiency in using archiving software
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Adobe applications
