Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist specializing in environmental modeling.
The ideal candidate will be involved in extensive fieldwork, data collection, and advanced analytical processes to contribute to our mission of creating sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct fieldwork and data collection related to microalgae, atmospheric carbon, and river ecosystems.
-Perform data analysis, including statistical and mathematical modeling, to derive meaningful insights.
-Develop and implement river models, utilizing advanced environmental modeling techniques.
-Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to contribute to quantitative research initiatives.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into the development of nature-based solutions.
-Pursue independent research projects to advance knowledge in the field.
-Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements:
-Ph.D. in Physics, General Physics, or a related field.
-Strong background in fieldwork, data collection, and quantitative research.
-Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and mathematical modeling.
-Proficiency in environmental and river modeling techniques.
-Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
-Demonstrated experience in scientific research and publication.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic startup environment
