Global Google Workspace team focuses on enabling and optimizing usage of Workspace services for all of Randstad employees worldwide.As a member of our Global IT Services team, you are responsible for the vision of the solution architecture, providing expertise and technical leadership in the design, implementation, and optimization of Google Workspace solutions. You are building a bridge between the business and technical solutions and provide in-depth expertise to our local IT teams across the globe.Your typical day includes:- Be the primary technical point-of-contact for the Global Google Team and the face of the technical team to internal and external stakeholders- Work on designing comprehensive Google Workspace solutions based on identified needs, creating architecture diagrams, and documenting technical specifications for implementation.- Collaborate with developers, OpCo IT administrators, off/on-shore support teams and other team members to ensure seamless integration of Google Workspace solutions with existing business/IT systems and applications.- Address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues related to Google Workspace, providing timely resolutions and recommendations to maintain system integrity.- Stay informed about industry best practices, Google Workspace updates, and security standards to review and update IT policies and standards for Google Workspace usage within the organization.- Conduct training sessions to global/local IT administrators on various technical, complex improvements, updates and innovations. - Contribute to the continual improvement of delivery services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices- Work collaboratively with platform, security and infrastructure architects to resolve critical technical issues and challenges, both globally and locally Your background experience:- At least eight (8) years of Google Workspace / Google Cloud Platform design and implementation experience- 10+ years of IT Industry Experience- Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and implementing Google Workspace solutions in complex, global environments.- Proven experience in integrating Google Workspace with other enterprise systems and applications, such as identity management solutions, CRM, and ERP systems.- Demonstrating a track record of designing and implementing Google platform solutions.- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards related to Google Workspace, with a track record of implementing and maintaining secure solutions- Strong understanding of cloud platforms development environments and tools, such as Google Cloud Platform, AppScript, AppSheets, Workspace SDK, etc.- Demonstrated ability to balance technical considerations with business requirements and constraints.- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders.- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end projects related to Google Workspace implementation and optimization, including experience with project management methodologies.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and drive initiatives to successful completion.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.- Google Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer certification or equivalent is highly desirable.- Additional relevant certifications, such as Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, are a plus.
