Role Overview: As a Finance Analyst, you support the Accounting and FP&A teams by maintaining key components of our Client’s reporting and planning processes. You collaborate closely with onshore Client teams, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. You are motivated, to improve financial processes and efficiencies continuously. You prepare reports, update financial models, and gather and analyze financial data to support the timely completion of Finance deliverables. What you do each day: Assist with the presentation of financial statements and managerial reporting to leadership and department leaders Perform month-end closing procedures including the coding of Accounts Payable invoices, preparation of journal entries for cash transactions, and GL account reconciliations Work with other analysts across the organization to provide data and support for their functions around planning tools and processes Lead preparation and analysis of consolidated P&L for actuals and forecasts; help the FP&A team on deliverables and ongoing variance analysis Assist in the monthly roll forward of forecast models and the monthly updates of key financial reporting Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analyses as required Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Financial Statements 1-2 years of financial accounting or FP&A experience Advanced working proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets Strong quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details Adept at using data sources to update models and reporting Experience completing variance analyses; communicate the drivers of financial statement variances against prior periods and forecastJob tags
