Job description

The US Human Resources Operations Specialist will execute specific projects and perform transactional duties for the Human Resources team. This role will partner with the entire US HR Organization to support programs and create tools to improve processes that will enhance the team member experience and culture at ConvergeOne. The US Human Resources Operations Specialist must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver accurate and efficient results.

Essential Functions • Assist in the day-to-day activities of US HR operations starting from Pre- Onboarding, Onboarding, HRMS, HRIS, query management. • Coordinates new hire onboarding including pre-employment communications, processing background and drug screens, completion of Form I-9, and partnering with IT to communicate access and equipment needs • Being the first face of the organization to present & welcome new hire. • Take care of document repository post offer generation, maintenance & updating of HRMS, etc of new hire. • Organizing Induction & introduction to internal stake holders of new hire. • Maintaining HRIS, updating the information as & when needed. • Generating reports and sharing to the stake holders. • Provides assistance and support in payroll and compliance tasks to US HR Lead/Manager. • Administration of Payroll, Employee Benefits, and other Human Resource Management Systems. • Collection, verification, organizing and documentation of employee related documents in HRIS and employee databases. • Work on monthly requests for changes to employee insurance, including additions, deletions, and other requests, and coordinates with the TPA in response to questions from employees. • Being the first POC for US HR Operations queries for employees • Works in partnership with strategic business partners to facilitate HR programs, company-wide services and programs, rollouts of new initiatives, and changes to policies and procedures • Supports contingent workforce management including onboarding, information changes, and offboarding • Coordinates customer specific US HR onboarding requirements • Executes HR compliance + Employee Engagement Surveys • Vendor Management • Maintains HR compliance training system and coordinates annual course assignments • Supports the offboarding of departing team members by ensuring all paperwork and records are accurately processed • Manages poster compliance for physical offices and remote workers • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to positively impact continued improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.

Required Qualifications • 4-7 years of US Human Resources experience (i.e. HR Operations, Benefits, HRIS) • Excellent technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Strong people-oriented skills as well as organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to multi-task as well as work quickly and accurately • Interpersonal effectiveness, especially relationship cohesiveness within a team • Excellent communication skills including excellent writing skills, and experience in creating and delivering presentations to HR professionals.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications • Bachelors / Masters’ degree in HR • Experience with Compliance Reporting • Demonstrated ability to design processes and programs that align with how the business operates • Working hours between 3 PM to 12 AM IST; with Hybrid work mode.
