You should have experience on backup product Rubrik, Veeam & Cohesity backup tools. · Shown knowledge on UNIX/Linux/Windows servers. · Backup software integration/configuration with most commonly used applications in industry (e.g. Backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, VMWare, SAP Hana & Sybase) · Implementation of LAN free/SAN based backups. Performance tuning and optimization for Rubrik/Veeam and storage. Work closely with other teams to resolve the backup issues related to their technologies. · Operational experience in managing/maintaining Rubrik/Veeam backup environment. · Ability to design complete Backup, Restore strategy, configuration of Backups- Full/Incremental/Image/Sub-file and troubleshooting. · Understanding of Backup and recovery Concepts and troubleshooting. · Rubrik server/Client and Administrator console installation. · Server/Client installation on different platforms (Unix/Windows/Linux). Knowledge in managing Domains, Clients, Users through Rubrik Commcell console/Veeam Console. · Work closely with other teams to resolve the backup issues related to their technologies. · Should have knowledge in storage to understand the environment Experience and to configure different tapes and library technologies, i.e. IBM/HP/ etc. · Create and Manage subclient, Schedule policy and Storage Policy. · Create Local/Cloud Libraries, Storage Pool and Deduplication engines in Rubrik. · Create Backup, Object & Scale-out repositories in Veeam. · Create GFS Extended retention polices in Veeam/Rubrik. · Veeam Replication/backup copy configuration. · Monitoring Rubrik/Veeam backups and recovering failed backups. · Analyze Problems & escalate to appropriate Levels. Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison · Good knowledge on DR and restoring backups based on requirement. Configuring Events, Notifications. · Generating different kind of backup reports and sending to customer. · Responsible for capacity planning and performance analysis of backup and recovery infrastructure. · Should be able to perform Rubrik/Veeam software upgradation and hotfix installation · Should have Strong Knowledge in De-duplication & Backup performance monitoring & optimization Capacity utilization trending and reporting. · Consult with end users to coordinate scheduling of backups and address other backup and recovery concerns. · Responsible for strategic planning related to ongoing enhancement of large backup and recovery environment · Rubrik/Veeam system migration concepts · Should understand the Rubrik/Veeam process flow & error codes · Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.Job tags
