In this role, you will:
- The Business Execution Manager plays a crucial part in building and growing a Data and Operations Profitability Team focused on calculating customer level profitability for CB and CIB business. Lead our team in building subject matter expertise, formulate analytical solution and enhance data quality. The role will play crucial part in managing the research, insights, and data quality strategies for a functional area with impact across business lines.
Responsibilities:
- Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems. Generate deep insights through the analysis of data and come up with actionable business recommendations.
- Create and execute strategy for Profitability team to pull together customer profitability across CB and CIB business.
- Manage a team of individuals and matrixed teams focused on defining data requirements and delivering on data initiatives using an agile approach.
- Manage the research, insights, and data quality strategies for a functional area with impact across business lines
- Lead and develop a team of high performing finance / technology professionals who serve as deliver on projects related to profitability.
- Experience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management leadership capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior management
- Ensure connectivity of financial data ecosystem and toolsets to optimize financial processes
- Interpret and develop product enhancement recommendation
- Provide leadership in moving system to target data environment and in establishing data and metadata quality goals
- Drive our Global stakeholder management, ensure robust routines with stakeholders and senior executives to share progress of key initiatives and report progress on agreed KPIs for the team
- Create competencies in the India team to enhance the overall team ability and engagement level bring in strategic thought leadership provide insights and be the enabler for the team to operate at a higher level of value add and integration
Essential Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience working in Data Analytic environment delivering Analytical solutions preferably in the Banking space.
- 6-8 years prior experience in an internal/external consultative role and/or commercial banking/corporate banking, credit, markets etc
- Project management, Team management, and people management experience
- Mastery of SQL and BI Tools. Comfortable working with SQL Server, Power BI and other Analytic and reporting tools.
- Ability to extract bespoke data from large datasets and expertise in queries using any of the data extraction tools/languages like SQL, Python etc.
- Responsible for performing highly complex activities related to business analysis and/or modeling. Demonstrated senior level consulting partnerships including delivery of findings and recommendations.
- Delivering analysis based on Datasets that are large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources. May be directly involved in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or advanced data visualization.

- Attention to detail in both analytics and documentation
- Aptitude for synthesizing data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective
