Your responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Senior Manager - Data Analytics is to understand and manage all Philips business' needs for B2B in terms of data acquisition, data quality, data insights to support and boost Philips consumer/customer engagement and return on investment.
You will have to quickly identify the major challenges, take ownership on them and move forward to plan and manage programs, actions and stakeholders within all given KPI and deadlines, always keen to team-up with colleagues and learn from their experiences.
Your core responsibilities will be:
Analyses and market & share development insights to drive for in market success and share increase
Drives standardization and automation of insightful market reporting from secondary research sources for business reporting to businesses and markets, leveraging sell out data from suppliers as well as leveraging SFDC, IB and other internal data
Tracks the launch and development of new propositions and phase out of old propositions
Enables win-loss analysis
Manages the overall governance of secondary research (including purchase of sell out panel data) subscriptions and purchases working closely with the Knowledge Management team
Develop and implement marketing data management practices
Ability to use data for Exploratory, descriptive and Inferential Analytics - Mandatory
Ability to share dashboards, reports, and Analytical insights from data - Mandatory
Sound understanding of Data Architecture is a prerequisite
Your team
You'll be part of the Marketing Insights & Analytics team, composed by business analysts and data scientists and led by a Global Head of Marketing Data Analytics, within Philips Group. You'll be based in our Bangalore office.
We are looking for
Our ideal candidate is a fairly experienced Business Analytics professional with a strong Consumer Marketing background, willing to take his career to the next level by joining Philips and working on a global scale.
The main requirements for this role are:
Economics/Statistics and/or Marketing & Communication background, with a strong focus on Media spends and return on investment activities with very strong Marketing/commercial data analytical and planning skills. A minimum of 12 years of proven Busines Analytics experience, ideally within large Companies
Strong working experience on MS Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Qlik/ PowerBI/Tableau)
Professionals with hands on Python experience will be preferred
Proven experience in managing complex, big and multiple Databases
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client/customer engagements.
Track record in delivering strong and impactful market tracking insights
Thorough understanding of financial metrics used to benchmark competitors
High affinity with applying new IT platforms / dash boarding software tools for reporting and Experience in a helathcare, complex, matrixed, multinational environment, e.g. hospital, payer
Competitor insight generation
Strong background into Database design, modeling and architecture
International background, able to manage multiple stakeholders in different Countries and contexts.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work across cultures, teaming up with colleagues located in all the global markets where Philips has offices.
Fluent business-level English is a necessary requirement. Additional languages are welcome.
Work Experience
Preferable 12-16 years of increasingly responsible experience in marketing analytics leadership roles, 7 to 9 years people management experience
