Job description
Qoala is a leading Insurtech startup in South East Asia. We are currently seeking an experienced ERPNext Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERPNext's codebase, experience in developing custom applications and scripts, and the ability to analyze and suggest functional implementations that meet our unique business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Codebase Expertise: Understand and work within the ERPNext codebase to develop, enhance, and maintain the system.
- Custom Development: Write custom code for apps and scripts to extend ERPNext functionalities according to business needs.
- Functional Consulting: Act as a functional consultant by understanding business requirements and suggesting ERPNext implementations that align with organizational goals.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within ERPNext deployments.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for customizations and configurations within ERPNext.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to ensure ERPNext solutions meet business requirements.
- Upgradation and Maintenance: Regularly update the ERPNext system and custom applications to ensure security and performance.
- Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest ERPNext features, updates, and best practices to advise on system improvements.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an ERPNext developer or consultant with a strong understanding of the ERPNext codebase.
- Experience in writing custom code for apps and scripts in ERPNext.
- Strong knowledge of ERPNext functionalities, modules, and the ability to suggest practical implementations based on business needs.
- Proficiency in Python, Frappe framework.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience with any containerisation tool (e.g., Docker)
