Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Quality Assurance (Java, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this key role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying, and documenting bugs, and working with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.

Responsibilities

§ Provide leadership and guidance in the development and execution of quality assurance strategies and processes.

§ Lead a team of QA engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

§ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective test plans and strategies.

§ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

§ Drive the implementation of best practices for test automation, including framework design, code reviews, and continuous integration.

§ Mentor team members on automation techniques and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and learning.

§ Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

§ Analyze test results and provide insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in software quality.

§ Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in QA and automation to drive innovation and process improvements.

§ Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and ensure timely delivery of quality release.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications we seek in you!

§ Strong proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

§ In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

§ Experience in leading and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

§ Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

§ Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.

§ Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

§ Relevant certifications in QA, Java, Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright are highly desirable.

§ Proven experience as a Lead Consultant in Quality Assurance with expertise in Java, Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright

Preferred qualifications

§ Exhibit superior levels of ownership and accountability in coordinating all requests from clients.

§ Experienced working in an Agile setup – preferably Safe Agile methodology

§ Ready to do a hands-on role.

§ Strong communication skills
