About The Role

This unique position based in Hyderabad, reporting to the Director, Global People Operations and collaborating closely with the local Senior HR Manager (HRBP, involves a broad range of responsibilities encompassing HR operational support, advisory functions, and benefits administration.

The People Operations Specialist will be pivotal, devoting 50% of their time to supporting India-based People Operations and collaborating with local HR Business Partners (HRBPs). The remaining 50% will focus on contributing to broader global People Operations initiatives. This role requires a versatile individual capable of navigating local and global HR landscapes, ensuring seamless operations and support across regions.

This role is ideal for hands-on, self-motivated HR professionals experienced in managing the entire employee lifecycle and seeking to further their HR generalist experience.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees in the India region, providing support and addressing queries for employees and line managers.
  • Assist in managing the employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, transfers, audits, and internal movements, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Stay updated with Indian labour laws and regulations, ensuring HR processes and policies align with legal requirements.
  • Work closely and collaborate with the global payroll function to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Collaborate closely with local HRBPs to provide day-to-day HR operational support, including employee inquiries, policy guidance, and issue resolution.
  • Offer expert guidance on people-related matters, interpreting policies, and supporting HR Business Partners with low-risk employee relations.
  • Provide local India benefits administration, collaborating with the global benefits team to enhance offerings and ensure data integrity.
  • Assisting with managing employee queries and lifecycle process management across all other Highspot geos.
  • Contribute to global People Operations projects, initiatives, and programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams across different regions.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and enhancing global HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support global HR initiatives such as talent acquisition, diversity & inclusion efforts, employee engagement programs, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with international teams to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices while respecting regional nuances.
  • Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, contributing insights for strategic decision-making.

Your Background

  • A comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and policies, including local employment legislation, employee lifecycle management, benefits administration and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in using various HR systems; previous experience working with Workday is desirable.
  • Demonstrated a history of collaboration and establishing successful and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into established frameworks and process maps.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others whilst demonstrating sensitivity where required.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, both grammatical and numerical.
  • Self-starter who isn't afraid to take ownership of work enjoys challenges and is passionate about continuous process improvements that enhance Highspot values and service proposition.
