SUMMARY
The Enterprise Architecture Manager II will report directly to the Director of IT and is responsible for leading and mentoring a team focused on enterprise architecture. This role will work closely with the Chief Architect in the implementation of strategic architectural initiatives, aligning business goals with technological solutions across the organization.
This includes, but is not limited to, accountability for both employee and customer experience, meeting SLA(s), and directing all activities across the functional areas. He / She will be responsible for measuring performance and weekly/monthly departmental KPI reporting. This leader will be a key member of the CIO leadership team & involves extensive collaboration, engagement, and facilitation with internal infrastructure and application teams as well as vendors. Strong communication and technical skills are required to guide, influence, andproperly advise the team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Architect to define and implement enterprise architecture strategy.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT engineers/generalists focused on learning and applying principles of enterprise architecture.
- Conduct architectural assessments, ensuring technology alignment with organizational goals.
- Work with various departments to integrate enterprise architecture frameworks into business projects.
- Communicate with stakeholders about architectural decisions and impacts.
- Evaluate new technologies and platforms for strategic organizational alignment.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for enterprise architecture projects.
- Proven strong command of technology, with the ability to integrate both short-term goals with long multi-year goals.
- Should have experience and understanding of multiple technology tiers and understand how the various technologies fit with one another.
- Should understand the relationship up the technology stack from data center layer, platform, network, database, application all the way up to a customer experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in design and documenting IT architecture
- Minimum 10+ years of technical experience with 3 years of exposure in enterprise architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of proven management experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with industry-standard architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
- Good understanding of ITIL
- Good Understanding of Automations Tools / Language
- Exposure towards Multi cloud is an advantage with Cost optimization mindset.
- Certifications like CompTIA Server+ / TOGAF / Cloud is a plus
