Our product catalogue includes fruits & vegetables, grocery items, beauty & wellness, baby care, pet care, fashion accessories, electronics, home dcor etc.A Unicorn backed by Marque Investors like Tiger Global, Alpha Wave, WestBridge Capital and have secured Funding of Total ~400Million USD since Inception.Come, build for Bharat, and challenge yourself in the process.Learn new skills, hone existing ones and grow with the company.Job Title : Engineering Manager (Reporting to the CTO)Experience : 8-12 YearsLocation : BangaloreThe Role :We are looking for a Hands on Engineering Leader You will take a leading role in scaling the platform, managing the engineering team, technical architecture & technical development.Should have worked in Supply chain/Logistics or Ecommerce industry before and knows the challengesKey Responsibilities :- Manage a team of passionate engineers to take on world-changing challenges guided by our Engineering Principles- Bring leadership and principled approach to engineering to set up your team for success.- Collaborate for impact across cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.- Contribute to future tech roadmap with an outcomes driven mindset.- Responsible for managing the engineering organization structure, making hiring decisions and being involved in interviewing and mentoring new engineers with the goal of quickly making them productive members of your team- Creating high performing teams that work well on their own, together and with the rest of the company.- Provide clarity of vision and technical guidance, as well as hands-on resource and project management, for all software development activities- Understanding our architecture and working with the Architecture Forum to ensure we enhance our Technology in line with new product releases.Qualifications And Skills :- Experience required 8-12 years (More than 2 years of experience in managing & building high performance teams- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.- Ability to manage and work within ambiguity to reach a successful outcome.- Working knowledge of scaled agile practices.- Previous working experience with leading teams using some of the following technologies : Java , Spring boot- An excellent team player, can work effectively and pragmatically with a team- A high level of EQ and proven ability to inspire, motivate and engage engineering functions.- A skilled delivery manager with demonstrable experience of managing multiple teams.- Excellent understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.- Above average project management skills must be a natural at keeping track of various sprints, budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously (ref:hirist.tech)
