Job description
C loud F oundation S ervices ( CFS , also known as 'Application Forerunner') is a strategic component (in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) for providing critical cloud services to multiple Oracle Global Industry Unit applications. CFS provides a microservice-driven platform, software delivery tool chain, and a continuous integration/continuous delivery operations model to support high margin, highly elastic, and highly available Software as a Service ( SaaS ) applications. CFS's Site Reliability Engineering team Operates & Support Network Services that provides 'infrastructure as code' in the area of configuring subnets, route pathing, security lists, and DNS resolvers for SaaS applications on top of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure ( OCI ), Oracle's second generation Infrastructure as a Service ( IaaS ). Network Services ensure reliability and security around ingress/egress in the CFS environment.
CFS SRE is looking for support and operations engineers that have programming skills. Network Services area of responsibility include configuration of subnets, route pathing, security lists, and DNS resolution through a 'infrastructure as code' process. TheSRE team supports these services 24/7 365 days with team member located around the world. CFS currently uses technologies such as: (the technologies are subject to change).

The candidate will work with highly skilled, highly motivated engineers using agile methodologies.The team employees a DevOps methodology. The team treats everything as code (code, configuration, infrastructure, pipelines, everything) to achieve the highest quality product in the most efficient amount of time.As a Sr. DevOps/SRE Developer in CFS team, you will be involved significantly in taking on several new initiatives to enhance Service Reliability and support our services in a complex distributed environment. You should be a distributed systems generalist with hands on Networking experience and should be able to work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment.
