After that, TUNA has become an integrated service enterprise that covers FGD, Marine FGD, SCR, de-nitration and high efficiency dust removal and other flue gas treatment.
TUNA Envirotech Private Limited is one of TUNA's holdings inc., which had subsidiary company of Zhejiang TUNA Environmental Science & Technology Co. Ltd. which having supply experience in worldwide major power sector developers and EPC companies if we focus on Indian operation we had supplied to majorly plants of NTPC , DVC, L&T Power, GE Power , BHEL, MAHAGENCO, ASTIC, Adani etc. and the supported major Indian companies who had executed their FGD projects with supply of Wet Ball Mill Grinding System and Gypsum Dewatering System from TUNA Corporation. We had been registered under all renowned State or Central Power Generation companies and even had good relationship with all Private power plants due to product Quality and timely execution of project within the set time frames. Currently apart from Equipment Supply TUNA is executing EPC based FGD projects of DB Power, MAHAGENCO, Adani and CGPCL.
TUNA certifies with quality management system under ISO standard 9001 and had developed independent 100 new technologies, and participated in drafting 6 nation standards. Our products have been installed in more than 1000 projects, clients in clouding China's Top 5 power generation groups, China's Top 3 electric groups, Shanghai Bao steel and so on. In addition, we also have been exported to dozens of countries, such as India, Russia, Turkey, Malaysia, Vietnam, Nigeria, Laos and so on. TUNA has become a large-scale energy-saving and environmental protection comprehensive enterprise integrating various business sectors such as flue gas treatment, wastewater treatment and solid waste treatment
A Project engineer is a professional who designs and oversees the overall EPC project management from concept to commissioning till handover. We are looking for Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer on permanent role basis for EPC based FGD Projects for PSU and Private clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Delivering a clearly defined and complete proposal package including detailed project Scope of Work, estimate, schedule, CTRs and other supporting documentation as required for successful kickoff of the project.
- Single-point responsibility for managing identified project interfaces and ensure that all applicable information is captured to enable the engineers to propose a complete a project design, with manageable brownfield integration risk.
- Managing Technical Queries during engineering, and coordinate responses.
- Managing cost, schedule and delivery during the engineering and procurement process.
- Managing Technical Bid Evaluation process and production of the Technical Bid Evaluation Report.
- Ensuring that the overall project is delivered to meet the asset operational needs.
- Coordinating and participating in all project safety and design reviews as necessary.
- Ensuring that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
- Driving interface management, liaising with the Client's Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion
- Providing client with an excellent service, by delivering the projects in a safe manner to the agreed schedule dates and within approved budgets
- Working closely with assets and work pack teams to identify opportunities to release drawings with holds and split work packs etc
- Delivery of individual, Project Performance with respect to Procurement, Schedule, Cost, Safety and Quality to meet asset operational needs
- Arranging and participating in all project safety, design and constructability reviews
- Providing assistance in timely resolution of site queries
- Zero defect tolerance
- Strict adherence to Project Procedures usage
- Establishing Work Orders WBS Structure and alignment of proposals & CTR development with an emphasis on scope development
- Project delivery to agreed schedule dates
- Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Project Dashboards/Reports.
- To drive interface management, liaising with the Client's Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion
- Work Order Proposal preparation, including scope and deliverable definition.
- Base line schedule preparation with planning engineers
- Schedule Management
- Daily Relationship Management and interface with client PE and other stakeholders
- Accurate reporting against active work orders
- Be proactive in safety behaviours and leadership
- Work Order Proposal – development of delivery strategy, WBS and review of the completed CTR's
- Schedule approval – work with planning team to produce a base line schedule for client approval
- Work Order Kick Off meetings – prepare for and manage the kick off meetings in accordance with project procedures.
- Change Management – Ensure any potential changes and variations are managed in a timely manner with the client's approval and to the approved process.
- Risk Management – all associated risk are to be identified, assessed and registered with appropriate mitigation measures identified.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in EPC Project Management for Power plant equipment/ESP/FGD projects
- B.Tech/BE Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient with the MS Office suite
- Strong understanding of Engineering principles and Mechanical aptitude
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask with exceptional time management skills

Physical Requirements:
The Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer position requires sitting in office and travel to site, vendor, consultants and client offices for meetings/construction supervision/follow up with vendors/consultant/client. The travel requirements will be required for 30 to 40% of time period.
