Job Responsibilities : Teach design foundation, visualization skills, and specialized design studios Advise students Develop curriculum Conduct design research Actively participate in the governance processes of the Department of Design, the SDVA, and the University Preferred Qualifications: Specific capabilities and evidence of success in the following areas will be considered desirable: Professional experience as a consultant or graphic designer and UI designer. College-level teaching of design foundation courses and advanced-level graphic designing courses. Experience in computer-aided design (Graphic and UI related software skills). Professional experience in different areas in visual communication. Record of achievement in design research or professional practice. Basic visual communications skills: Campaign design (Concept to final output), illustration, packaging, website design, Story boarding, UI, rapid visualization, and Knowledge of current critical and theoretical issues. Job Knowledge (Prerequisite) Must be knowledgeable and have experience in professional graphic design and/or visual communication in design education at the college level, and practical computer experience. Must possess commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population.Job tags
