Your Job
Provide global operation support in the areas of transportation management activities which include proactive management of shipment milestones performance and resolve issues or escalation promptly process, analyze and resolve global transportation data from various sources such as SAP, Infor Nexus and Forwarders reports. Also the individual will proactively monitor the risk for the shipments through control tower. The individual is also required to support various transportation initiatives by working together with various plants logistics leads as well as other stakeholders.xa0xa0

What You Will Do
Ensure shipment visibility with quality and completeness of data from various sources (plants, forwarders, carriers etc) into Infor Nexus is according to required specifications. The individual needs to ensure all expected shipments are reflected in Infor Nexus with respective milestones captured according to the freight terms. Timely implement or onboard forwarders into Infor Nexus platform.
Setup and monitor exceptions shipment occurrences in Infor Nexus. The individual is required to ensure issues are identified at early stage of disruptions and take prompt measures to resolve the matter and notify the affected stakeholders.
Freight RFQ processing. Prepare, analyze and publish scheduled weekly, monthly analytics to support business taking the decision. xa0
The individual to monitor and communicate the risk events which is potential impact to the Molex shipments to avoid any disrupt to the business continuity. Shipment delay monitoring through control tower.
The individual will also facilitate as the first level of escalation support for transportation related matters and undertake prompt resolutions with the forwarders or carriers to minimize cost and impact to the affected parties.
Validation of carrier draft bill of lading and provide confirmation to carriers.
Ensure TAT and 100% quality of the work for each activity which he is assigned to drive
Provide training and guidance on the transportation activities to the co-employee/direct reporteeu2019s if any
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 High competency for leveraging transactional and Risk event monitoring, Business warehouse and Data lake.
What Will Put You Ahead
REQUIRED:
xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Diploma / Bachelor degree / Specialized course in Supply Chain Logistics OR Transportation.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Min 3-5 years of experience in a logistics function in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED:
xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Prefer the individual to have some experience in 3 rd party service provider organizations as well.
